We require EYFS, key stage 1 and key stage 2 teachers throughout the Sittingbourne area for both emergency supply cover and long-term roles for our partnership schools in across Mid Kent. These ad hoc, supply placements can often lead to permanent appointments.
Your new role
As a supply teacher working for Hays Education you will be offered work in locations and settings to suit you. What you'll need to succeed
Your previous experience within primary education will lead to your successful appointment in the role. You will have qualified teacher status (you do not have to have completed your NQT induction year) and recent experience within the classroom. You are a creative and positive teacher, who is able to embrace new surroundings and situations, whilst still demonstrating professional behaviour at all times. You will be flexible in year groups and schools that you are able to teach in, and confident in working in new surroundings. You will have strong classroom management skills, with the ability to adapt to unfamiliar plans and timetables.
