Job Summary

Moog Aircraft Group are looking to bring on board an experienced Manufacturing Engineering Manager to support our global Supply Chain team. This is an opportunity to add real value across the function, by promoting a positive lean based culture and developing exceptional supplier relationships.

Working within a global team, you’ll take a lead on training and team activities and developing and monitoring organisational metrics to benefit organisational effectiveness. Your ability to establish and develop internal and external relationships that are mutually beneficial will be one of the foundations of your success. This will include multi-site relationships across Moog’s manufacturing operations in order to promote the concept of one factory with local core technologies supporting the wider business need.

We’re looking for someone with strong communication and influencing skills, a good understanding of business risk, excellent problem solving skills and the interest in adding value through team performance.

Key Expertise
- Experience of Manufacturing Engineering including machining, metal work or gears
- Excellent supplier development skills
- Flexibility to travel internationally on a regular basis
- Proven data driven problem solving skills - preferably lean sigma qualified
- Ability to develop and retain a high performing team
