Senior Account Manager / Team Lead
Location: London
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 + bonus

Our client provides impartial, trusted leadership and management support to schools in England and Wales. They are a fast-growing company with big ambitions, and on this basis, are looking for a highly motivated Senior Manager/Team Lead to join their team.

Job Purpose:
The Senior Account Manager/ Team Lead is a player coach position that sits between the account managers and the Director of Business development. You will have ultimate responsibility for maintaining an excellent renewal rate across all the Enterprise accounts as well as identifying growth opportunities and they will do that through an account management team.

Within this role you will mentor the account managers to improve the skill levels in the team. You will work with the business to identify sales campaigns to run in the enterprise accounts and work with the marketing team to support maximum penetration in the accounts.
You will be responsible for ensuring the key internal stakeholders have full visibility on the progress of the account management team.

Main Objectives of Role
*To achieve a 90%+ renewal rate across the enterprise accounts through an effective account management strategy
*Manage the account management team through weekly/ monthly objectives to ensure maximum impact within their account base
*To identify growth opportunities across our account base and help build an execution plan that will secure cross sell wins in this financial year
*Ensure there is constant market/ customer feedback from account management into the product teams so that we can continue to build fit for purpose products and services

Key Responsibilities
*To work with the Director of Business Development to build and maintain a renewal strategy that is aligned to our product and segmentation strategy
*To manage the performance of the account management team on a weekly and monthly basis to achieve a 90% renewal rate
*Identify and execute a plan to win new memberships across the account base in each of our core products
*To work with marketing manager to monitor and report on key performance indicators including member engagement, satisfaction, renewal, risk profile, new memberships and revenue.
*To support the day to day requirements of the account management team
*To manage the weekly reporting needs of the Director of Business Development from the account management team
*To ensure the team fully understand the value proposition of each product and to each customer segment so they can deliver consistent messages to the account base
*Oversee new proposals and contract negotiation across the team
*Manage your own account base
*Attend onsite client meetings and represent the company at industry events
*Work with the product managers to ensure there is a clear feedback loop from customers
*Work with marketing teams to ensure there is alignment with campaigns and renewal calendar to maximise impact of marketing channel
*In conjunction with the Product Managers monitor, record and analyse competitor activities reporting back to the business where necessary.
*To ensure all activity is aligned to the company's brand and values.
*To support and encourage a test and learn culture within the team.
*Keeping up to date with marketing best practices and industry trends.

Key Experience
*A minimum of 5 years B2B commercial experience
*A minimum of 1 year leadership experience
*Subscription or renewable annual contract experience essential
*Public Sector experience a benefit but not essential
