This charity is looking for a capable, professional Administrator; a confident communicator and team player with a flexible attitude and positive approach.

Would you enjoy supporting a busy department with your excellent administration and communication skills? Their Rehabilitation Service team delivers a wide programme of training, rehabilitation and activities to their visually impaired veterans from their Brighton Centre. The team also delivers residential weekly training programmes to their visually impaired veterans from across the UK and enables their veterans to take part in events and projects in the community.

This enjoyable and challenging Administrator role involves supporting their Rehabilitation Services Manager and regular weekly admin tasks for their Rehabilitation teams, coupled with longer term and ad hoc projects, all of which underpin the running of their department.

You'll provide a full administrative support service to their Rehabilitation Services Manager; take meeting minutes; organise meetings and special events; liaise with their volunteers; coordinate their work schedules and planners and take the lead on developing, analysing and presenting statistical data.

They are looking for a self-motivated team player and confident communicator, able to manage a varying workload and prioritise regular tasks to meet weekly deadlines, whilst managing longer term projects. You'll be highly proficient in using MS software, including Outlook and Excel and you'll have a great eye for detail. You should be able to think on your feet and be flexible when presented with unexpected challenges. An excellent communicator, you'll be happy and confident to deal with every kind of person in a calm and professional way.

This post is subject to enhanced disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly CRB).
