Lloyd Recruitment has an exciting job opportunity for an experienced Digital Marketing marketer to join a very well established and reputable Events company based in the Twickenham area. We are looking for a Digital Marketing Manager who is a 'digital native’, someone who is constantly looking for the next digital trend and what’s about to change in the marketplace.

Salary - basic up to £45K plus 10-15% bonus

The Digital Marketing Manager will be fully html-capable, understand all the nuances of Google, SEO, etc.; but more importantly someone who just constantly reads, experiments and wants to be at the forefront of digital… and be able to balance that with real marketing flair also be able to recommend best practice of how to use digital marketing technologies.

Duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Development of digital and social media best practice and campaign strategy to increase reach and visitor/exhibitor numbers, and guide, ensure implementation by the show teams: Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube and blogs
  • Optimisation of all websites and digital visibility for the events through SEO and PPC activities
  • Ensuring effective tracking and reporting for all digital and social marketing activities to show teams
  • Contributes to the decision making on the web, social & mobile strategy together with the Marketing Director and in line with the event strategy
  • Keep up to date on trends new tools, apps, platforms and networks in digital and social media, to ensure that the required knowledge reaches out across the event teams
  • Ensure that all digital communication follows the legislation and industry agreements for the relevant countries
  • Implement a strategy with a real impact on business: increased visitors through digital & social channels, increased website traffic
  • Increase social and digital media engagement, contributing towards visible increases in opt-in data
  • Completion and presentation of digital and social media strategy, action plan; including full web audit (content & SEO)
  • Skills and experience required for the Digital Marketing Manager role:

  • Proven experience working in a similar Digital Marketing role
  • Able to bring cutting-edge expertise in digital marketing technologies and approaches
  • Knowledge and control of digital, social media and mobile tools
  • Hungry to be at the forefront of digital knowledge and best practice
  • The ability to inspire and enthuse the teams to try something different
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
