This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful and vibrant Software Development Team involved in the design and development of information management services and solutions, which maximise the utility of data and provide decision making insight.

The successful candidate will lead a team of Java Developers, in addition to contributing yourself as a Developer and will have responsibility for the technical direction and processes of the team.

Technical Skills Required:

  • Extensive experience with JEE
  • RESTful Web services using JAX-RS
  • Maven
  • Oracle Fusion Middleware, including Weblogic and WebCentre
  • Web page development including JSF, HTML, Javascript and JQuery
  • SQL
  • Automated software unit and integration testing
  • UML
  • Knowledge of Waterfall and Agile delivery approaches
  • Experience and knowledge of the full SDLC
  • Knowledge or experience of Continuous integration with Jenkins, Primefaces, Bootstrap, BPMN and / or Oracle ADF, BPM and BAM would be extremely beneficial

  • Has an enthusiasm for continuous improvement of software techniques and practices
  • Ability to manage the performance evaluation and personal development of team members to aid the realisation of true potential.
  • Flexibility and enjoys the challenge of working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Focused on the results of the whole team, not just individual achievement.
