An exciting new opportunity has arisen, in a technology driven financial services organisation, for an experienced Infrastructure Support Team Lead to join their growing IT Support & Operations team. Due to the growth of the business, they are looking for an Infrastructure Support Team Lead to take responsibility for managing and supporting business critical server and infrastructure systems. The Infrastructure Support Team Lead will ensure that a high level of service is provided to the business, and work closely with other IT teams to continually maintain and improve overall IT performance, as well as actively being involved in the introduction of new technologies. Working in an ITIL environment, the Infrastructure Support Team Lead will also be involved in incident, problem, change, service, and release management activities.

Key Skills:

Significant experience working in IT support, up to 3rd line level, in a Windows/Microsoft focused environment
Previous experience in a senior / manager / project lead capacity in an Infrastructure Ops team
Experience managing and supporting Windows Servers, Windows OS, Active Directory. Group Policy, etc.
Strong VMware experience (ESXi, VCenter, Vsphere, etc.)
Experience administering storage systems, such as SAN (e.g. NetApp, HP, Hitachi, etc.) would be highly beneficial, but not essential
A background in an ITIL environment would be beneficial
Experience in both operational support and involvement in the delivery of IT projects
Strong customer focus and communication skills
Any experience of System Center (SCCM / SCOM) would be highly beneficial, but not essential
Any relevant qualifications and training would be beneficial (e.g. Microsoft, VMWare, ITIL, etc.)
Salary & Benefits:

Basic salary up to £42,000
10% On-call allowance
