Payroll Specialist Manager

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Payroll Manager in the Liverpool area, to join a fast pace, friendly chartered accountants, private practice firm. They have recently gone through an expansion and are continuing to grow.
Your new role
You will be responsible for managing weekly and monthly payrolls for around 200 clients and all other payroll related duties, whilst ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time in line with procedures and legal compliance. You will be supervising and supporting the payroll administration officer. You will be responsible for managing and driving forward payroll/pension projects.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed you will have a proven track record of working on your own initiative, confident in all aspects of payroll work whilst having strong oral and written communication skills. Must be up to date with the latest legislative regulations, excellent technical working knowledge of Sage payroll. You will be experienced in tax codes and RTI.
What you'll get in return
- 37.5 hours per week (Hours - 9:00-5:30)
- 20 days holiday in addition to 8 public holidays
- up to £23,000 salary DOE
