We are looking to recruit both a permanent 0.5 Clinical or Counselling Psychologist post and a 0.5 fixed term Clinical or Counselling Psychologist post for a year and would be happy to consider the same person for both posts. This is for a dynamic Tier 3 specialist CAMHS team based across West Hertfordshire. We have clinics in Hemel Hempstead and St Albans. This post will be based in Hemel Hempstead.

We are a CAPA CYP-IAPT service applying these core principles of collaborative practice to a wide range of mental health difficulties experienced by children, young people and families. You will work in a multi-disciplinary team based approach sharing your skills and knowledge across the team as well as gaining broad experience of working with a range of difficulties that children and young people experience.

We welcome applications from psychologists who are passionate about working with children and young people. We are committed to providing professional development opportunities within the service.

Tier 2 Certificate of Sponsorship (formerly a Work Permit)
Applications from job seekers who require Tier 2 sponsorship to work in the UK are welcome and will be considered alongside all other applications. However, non-EEA candidates may not be appointed to a post if a suitably qualified, experienced and skilled EU/EEA candidate is available to take up the post as the employing body is unlikely, in these circumstances, to satisfy the Resident Labour Market Test. The UK Border Agency requires employers to complete this test to show that no suitably qualified EEA or EU worker can fill the post. For further information please visit UK Border Agency website.
