Home Manager - Eastbourne - Up to £55k

This purpose-built elderly nursing home provides individualised care packages for each of its residents, some of whom are living with dementia or physical disability. The home has a modern interior design throughout, and lovely landscaped gardens which provides both residents and staff with a tranquil and relaxing environment.

The company who own this home are a large, well-renowned care company that is dedicated to providing the very best in dementia and palliative care and have an ethos based on courtesy, graciousness and empathy.

As Home Manager, your key responsibilities will centre on management of staff, care delivery to residents, recruitment, training and ensuring that the home is run in accordance with company and CQC policies.

Please note, although this role is to take leadership of a nursing home, a nursing qualification is not essential.

Main Duties as Home Manager:
• To manage the day to day running of the home and staff team ensuring the highest level of care standards are upheld throughout the home
• To maintain occupancy levels within the service
• To assist with the recruitment for the home
• To support service users in order to ensure that their physical, social and emotional needs are met

The successful candidate will have the following experience and qualifications:
• NMC PIN desirable, although not essential
• Proven management experience in a similar care environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Sound knowledge of CQC and Care Standards

In return, my client is offering a salary in the region of £55K and an excellent benefits package.
