Your new company
A growing service based company is recruiting for a new Finance Manager / Financial Controller job. They have been established for close to 20 years and have 3 companies within the group. The reason for the vacancy is the current Senior Accountant is retiring following a hand over period.
Your new role
As a key member of the team you will help the continuous growth of the company. From a financial perspective you will be involved in the production of statutory accountants, monthly management accounts as well as producing budgets and forecasts. This is a 'hands on role' where you will be processing payments to suppliers, as well as payroll and all tax and VAT returns. Finally you will conduct company secretarial duties and deal with the groups banking and audits.
What you'll need to succeed
Ideally you will be a qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA or ACCA) but my client will consider somebody who is qualified by experience, QBE. You will ideally have Sage and payroll experience and be a competent user of Excel. Experience within a similar size organisation is preferred.
