We are an ambitious organisation, and we are looking for an equally ambitious and innovative Autonomous Drive Software Design Engineer to join our dynamic Advanced Engineering team. Nissan is positioned to become the most desirable Asian brand in Europe, and we need your help to get there.

This position is based at Nissan Technical Centre Europe, Cranfield which is the head office for Nissan’s Research & Development operations in Europe, working closely with other Design Engineering teams to develop software for our future autonomous drive vehicles.


  • Leading City Driving technology development
  • Autonomous drive electrical layout & cable schedule creation
  • Undertake autonomous drive trend research
  • Component packaging
  • Autonomous drive test support

Background & Experience:

  • You will have worked on autonomous drive software development within an automotive environment
  • You will have knowledge in the creation of detailed vehicle electrical architecture
  • You will be educated to degree level and will have academic or commercial research experience
