Patient Involvement Manager

About the role
We know that high quality patient involvement helps to ensure that our work, and the research we fund, meets the needs of heart patients and their families. We need someone to develop and implement a new organisation-wide patient involvement strategy.
You will coach teams and individuals to identify and develop innovative and meaningful mechanisms that involve patients in their work, and highlight the benefits and impact of effective patient involvement.
You'll provide internal expertise on best practice in patient involvement.
The successful applicant will have significant experience and personal commitment to patient and public involvement, ideally in relation to healthcare and/or health/medical research.
You will be an excellent facilitator, who can confidently guide and direct groups of patients and service users. An excellent communicator, able to translate complex information succinctly to a range of audiences, you'll enjoy working with people and managing multiple projects at the same time.
