Compassionate Neighbours Project Manager
Overview of role
St Clare Hospice is a charity that provides specialist palliative care to patients and families in West Essex and the East Hertfordshire borders.
We are currently looking for an experienced community development worker who will run our new Compassionate Neighbours project. The Hospice is participating in a Nesta-funded programme to decrease social isolation amongst people at the end of their lives. You will have significant experience of working with and training volunteers, assessing the needs of vulnerable people in their own homes and managing complex funded projects that require data collection. A requirement of the role is that you will attend training and adopt the East London model of ‘Compassionate Neighbours’ (where the model was developed and established) and deliver the milestones required of St Clare Hospice during the Nesta funding period.
Please read the job description for further details.
If you would you like to help to develop Hospice services then we would like to hear from you.
In return for your commitment we offer a full induction into your role, a competitive salary and benefits package, company sick pay scheme and contributory pension scheme.
