Hays Education are currently working exclusively on behalf of a Birmingham secondary school based in the city centre to recruit for a pool of local teachers to cover emergency bookings and management release time. The posts are offered on a flexible, temporary basis to suit your daily and weekly requirements.

Your new role
There are several part time opportunities available within this school including regular, day to day emergency cover and pre-booked course cover. You can be offered shifts ranging from one to five days per week Your responsibilities will include delivering prepared planning, ensuring the pupils are engaged and fulfil their learning objectives, following the schools policies and procedures and keeping the classroom tidy. No planning responsibilities are included. The school are looking to build a pool of regular staff to cover a range of lessons including English, Maths and Science specifically that they can rely on to return to the school as often as needed.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in your application for these roles you will need to have secondary teaching experience of at least 3 months, recent experience teaching within a secondary school or similar setting and be willing to travel to the city centre. You must have experience delivering a range of secondary school lessons including English, Science and Maths.
