Digital/Enterprise Marketing Manager - 40k plus bonus - Kent based

We have a fantastic opportunity currently with our client, a global leader operating within the dental industry with an extensive product portfolio.

This position involves working closely with the Marketing Manager and, in conjunction with the Digital Marketing Exec, to develop and execute digital programmes that will drive incremental sales and profit. The role is a mid-management role with one full time direct report.

This newly created role has responsibility for the development and implementation of the new Salesforce CRM tool and, in particular, maximising use of Marketing Cloud to drive our marcomms. We need someone with significant Salesforce experience (particularly Marketing Cloud) to drive the new projects, to fully exploit the capabilities of the system and to act as our in-house Salesforce champion across all the brands - full-service as well as DMO.

You will spearhead the implementation of our new website and e-commerce upgrades and manage its future strategic direction and development to maximise sales. An understanding of html would be helpful for this. You will also manage our global content driven digital marketing, particularly in conjunction with the Solutions Marketing Manager to drive our prospects pipeline for specific product areas, events and education.

You will need to be a strategic thinker with strong technical and analytical skills, able to hit the ground running and quickly understand our full service proposition: consumables, laboratory, equipment and education and to apply the relevant marketing techniques to get the most out of all our opportunities.

Requirements for this role include very strong hands-on digital knowledge and experience (web, email, PPC, SEO and social media, content, in-bound and automated marketing and video) with a strong data-oriented and analytical approach. You will require independence to drive through new ideas, build web-based solutions, develop strong relationships within the Sales team to maximise opportunities within OneWeb.

Line management and development of staff is also a key requirement.

The new GDPR regulations mean that we have to become more focussed on our data management and we need to take a more analytical and results-driven approach to our digital marketing programme, including outcome measurement and ROI analysis. THE ROLE IN SUMMARRY

- With the Digital Marketing Exec and Marketing Manager, manage the strategy, analytics and development of digital and online marcomms for HSD including websites, microsites, e-commerce, email, PPC, SEO and social media, inbound content marketing, video, webinars and online education.
- Develop and execute a digital marketing plan, to increase our sales, profitability and improve our digital and online statistics (open/CTR/bounce rates etc and maximise social media reach and impact).
- Champion Salesforce and maximise all opportunities within Marketing Cloud.
- Create, template and maintain responsibility for a series of digital automated 'journeys' in Salesforce to manage the sales, customer and prospect pipeline - for HSD, Kent and Budget.
- Measure, monitor and continually adapt the journeys to ensure seamless integration with other digital communications.
- Manage the GDPR compliance process for HSD and ensure that we maximise the opportunity to have an engaged hard-opted in audience from May 2018.
- Work closely with the Solutions Marketing Manager and Education and Events Manager to drive the digital, equipment, digital education and Business Solutions prospects pipelines and journeys, particularly through content creation and inbound marketing.
- Own, develop and manage our website strategy, driving improvements to all relevant statistics.
- Assist with the upgrade of OneWeb (our ecommerce platform) and, in conjunction with the sales team and our customers, to identify and implement future improvements and enhancements.
- To work closely with the global Digital and e-Commerce Marketing Managers and to implement and drive best-practice.
- Test, measure ROI and report on all key metrics for all marketing activity, using the data to drive digital behaviours.
- Management of 1 Digital Marketing Executive.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Become Salesforce champion and assist with implementation of Marketing Cloud.
- Develop marketing plans to take advantage of evidence based opportunities in the market. This will include researching and understanding market opportunities and competitor analysis.
- Manage and develop the Digital Marketing Exec.
- Prepare analysis and reports which keep the management team up-to-date with the progress, success and challenges.
- Continue to develop our online presence.
- Maximise our ecommerce platform functionality and promote to customers and sales teams.
- Manage the company's mailing list selection.
- Involvement and assistance with any other marketing activities as and when required.
- Attend training courses, exhibitions and seminars as required.
- Be an enthusiastic team player at all times by always being approachable and helpful.
- Give support to assist team members in other departments, as and when necessary.
- Participate in special projects and perform other duties as required.

- There will be some travel between UK offices.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

- 5 years plus digital marketing experience (preferably within capital goods/large value services) including web, email, PPC, SEO and social media, content, inbound and automated marketing, video, webinars and online education.
- Significant Salesforce experience (particularly Marketing Cloud).
- Experience of creating successful digital campaigns and evidence to support.
- Solid understanding of e-commerce platforms.
- Strong analytical skills and evidence to support.
- Management experience desirable.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
- Understanding of Hubspot would be useful.
- Html ability very helpful.
- Wordpress and/or other web development tool experience and ability to create content online useful.
- Google Analytics and other web-based analysis tools.

Education

- Preferably marketing degree and/or equivalent CIM level.
- Digital marketing qualification desirable, but practical hands-on digital ability and understanding is essential.
- Would be required to study and pass BDIA Introduction to Dentistry course.
