My client is a large Utilities contractor that is looking for a Waste Water Sampler to cover multiple wastewater sites who is based between Crawley, Guildford and Basingstoke. All of the work flow is attached to water treatment plants on MOD sites where you will be sampling the water treatment plants, discharge points ( sampling up stream and down stream ) as well as boreholes.

This role is covering an area which spans from Sailsbury across to kent with Slough being the furthest point north in the territory.

My client is looking for someone to be centrally based and all candidate apply to this role will need to be based between or close to Crawley, Guildford and Basingstoke.

As this position offers full training with equipment and technical aspects of the role, no previous experience of water sampling is needed, however it would be advantageous if you have had water sampling, PH water testing, mobile lone working or similar in any capacity.

This role is a home based role where you will be covering multiple client sites between Sailsbury, Kent and Slough. As a result you will spend a lot of time travelling between sites and must be comfortable driving daily to site up to 3 hours away. Once you have been trained you will be working in an individual capacity where your daily plans and workflow will be delivered to you from a tablet / laptop.


Essential criteria:

Full UK drivers license and be able to park a company van in your area.
Ability to work out doors
Be comfortable driving in a field based capacity
Ability to use a tablet / laptop
Live in or near by Crawley, Guildford and Basingstoke
Be able to work as part of a 1 in 3 weekend standby rota ( You will be paid £50 per weekend for being on standby and any hours worked will be paid at X1.5)

The main responsibilities of the role will be to travel to multiple location and collect water samples. The samples and collection methods will vary based on the location and test. Once samples are collected you will need to store them in the company van and transport them to the laboratory for analysis.

On offer is a salary of £16,500 if you have no experience, and £17,000 if you have previous water sampling experience based on a 37 hour week.

PPE, company van and training will all be provided.
