Advancing People Multilingual Recruitment Specialists are now recruiting for an IT Business System Manager to join the team of a market leading global organization which provides quality world-leading products for sectors like automotive and engineering markets. Our client is looking to hire a talented Business Systems Manager who can take ownership of the company's IFS and ensure the maximum utilization of the IFS to create optimal results for the business.

The ideal candidate needs a minimum of 3 years' experience in IT, and experience in a similar role. Most of all, you need the right personality: a client and business focus, and a proactive attitude towards work. In this role, you will take ownership of the IFS entirely, ensure and maintain its functionality, and remain aware of business and client needs and how the IFS solution serves these.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of the entire IFS solution - you are the sole responsible for the IFS, and look after all aspects of the maintenance of it
  • Operate and maintain the IFS system (e.g. implementing new releases)
  • Ensure the sales and marketing interests of the business are properly served by through the use of the IFS
  • Create Report, Custom Objects (fields, views, tables, pages, events etc.)
  • Take ownership of the full user administration process
  • Prioritize effectively and when resolving errors in the system
  • Collaborate with external consultants to implement necessary improvements


Essential candidate requirements:

  • Experienced in PLSQL
  • Experience in reporting tools, e.g. Crystal Report, Report Designer, Qlikview, Quick Reports
  • Client focus and awareness of business needs
  • A proactive 'doer' attitude, taking initiative to resolve issues and introduce improvements
  • Working independently or taking direction when necessary
  • Ability and capacity to learn new things quickly
  • Excellent planning, organizational and communication skills
  • Fluent in English, other European languages are an advantage
  • Ability to travel occasionally across our locations in Europe

Desirable:

  • Functional knowledge in the IFS modules especially in Sales, CRM, Finance and Manufacturing (Inventory, Logistics, Maintenance) as well as Projects and HR module
  • Application Programming Interface and web services related to IFS
  • QR Barcoding
  • Oracle Data Base Administration
  • EDI
