The GEIC is a £60m capital project to construct the world's foremost Centre for graphene commercialisation, currently being built on campus at The University of Manchester, the Centre is due to be operational in September 2018.

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious post-doctoral graduate to engage in knowledge exchange with companies at the leading edge of graphene science.

We are looking to recruit up to 6 Application Specialists who can demonstrate appropriate expertise in one or more of the following areas:
  • Composites
  • Barriers and Membranes
  • Surface Modification / Coatings / Inks
  • Batteries and Energy Storage
  • Material Manufacture

The Application Specialist will be involved in conducting a number of short-term applied projects in partnership with a diverse range of industrial partners looking to investigate the use of grapheme and its derivatives in a range of applications.
