Project Sales Engineer – Industrial Consumables

Locations: South East

Circa: £35-40,000 Basic Salary (DOE) + Monthly Bonus + Company Car (Fully Expensed) + Pension + Laptop + Phone

I am currently working with a market leading Industrial Consumable manufacturer who have doubled their turnover in the last 3 years and breaking all records in the company’s history. With the successful appointment of a Project Sales Engineer in the South they are now looking to replicate the same in the North of England, along the M62 Corridor.

Reporting to the Technical Sales Manager we are looking for a commercial Project Engineer who is looking to work for a market leader in a hands on customer facing sales position.

The Role:

We are looking for somebody who is a proactive engineer who can go on site and identify projects and designers.

Work closely with all members of the sales and technical team in the South of England to establish and maintain the highest levels of customer service.

Promote the business’ brand within the construction industry, targeting specification engineers and selected contractors working on major projects.

Promote and deliver training seminars including formal CPD Presentations and training on design software.

Maintain client database using CRM system, including records of all correspondence and specifications submitted.

Pro-actively target, maintain direct contact and communicate professionally with key project engineers, contractors and supply chain managers, securing project business.

The Candidate:

Educated in a civil, structural or mechanical engineering related discipline, to a Degree or HND level.

Commercial awareness, ability to secure and develop new business.

Solid experience within construction industry, primarily in construction specification sales or design capacity.

Dynamic individual who can listen to clients and respond quickly to help them meet and exceed their expectations
