My client are a division of a global software group, providing Enterprise Management Software Solutions and cutting edge EPOS technology.

We are looking new developers with 12 months+ experience, bringing fresh ideas to continue to create market leading solutions that drive our products forwards. The candidate will be required to perform a variety of tasks across planning, testing, delivery and installation, working with the existing software development team developing the existing suite of retail & hospitality management systems along with new websites & web based applications for the full life cycle development of projects.

You will be working across a range of technologies and experience of any of the following would be considered an advantage - .NET / C# / iOS / Android / HTML5 / Cordova / CSS / XML Web Services & Microsoft SQL Server.

Duties may include:

• Prepare system designs and specifications.
• Consult with internal & external users to define general and detailed specifications of a proposed system.
• Participate in technical reviews of Requirements; Design specifications and source code.
• Design testing methods and test completed programs and procedures for accuracy and completeness ensuring system requirements are met.
• Design input and report forms and file layouts for data entry.
• Implement and maintain programs performing modifications as necessary.
• Analyse problems and develop solutions compatible with existing systems.
• Prepare activity and progress reports regarding project activities.
• Program new applications or modifications from verbal and written direction performing the necessary analysis to develop detailed program specifications.
• Prepare release notes; user guides, training material and assist with content for marketing material.
• Deliver and receive training as directed.
