The Role This is an initial six month fixed term contract with a strong potential of becoming permanent. You will be working closely with your Manager and helping with the support and mentoring of the team. Based in the CGT & Valuations team, your main responsibilities will include: Assisting the team in the completion of daily tasks associated with CGT and Valuations which will include liaison with the front office Deputising for your Manager and making sure that regular team meetings take place Be second checker within the team Make sure teams KPIs etc. are met and records kept Where appropriate, provide technical advice to the team Making sure that all regulatory and risk requirements are met The Person As Assistant Team Leader, you should already have some experience of coaching and mentoring others in a team and be ready for your next step up to Assistant Manager. Preferred skills include: Settlement operations Knowledge of investment management Previous experience of delegating and reviewing work CGT would be ideal but is not essential Performance and impact to valuations knowledge andexperience preferred although not essential The ability to work in a collaborative manner within the team and the entire business The Company If you are looking to advance your career with a friendly, supportive financial services organisation then this current vacancy may be of interest.
