Technical Support Specialist (Client Facing, Application Support, Implementation, Training) ? Bury St Edmunds ? £30,000 to £43,000 ? Ref: J2080

We have a new opportunity for a Technical Support Specialist to join a Market Leading provider of Software solutions. These breakthrough technology solutions and services are used by more than 400 clients around the world in a variety of industries including Pharmaceutical, Food and Health Care.

The Technical Support Specialist is responsible for providing remote / onsite support as well as product installations and training. Alongside these responsibilities you will be required to regularly analyse issues and identify product improvement opportunities.

During the first 4 to 6 months you will be developing a solid technical understanding of their software solutions as well as learning how their products are used. Once training is complete, it is expected up to 40% of your time will be spent at client sites (UK, Europe and US)

To be considered, you must have previous experience in a similar role supporting bespoke products, applications and / or software solutions. Any experience of working within ISO 9001 Compliant or heavily regulated environments is preferred but not essential.

Their solutions are developed using PHP, JavaScript and SQL. This is not a programming role but any knowledge of these languages as well as a good understanding of general IT would be a bonus.
