A reputable manufacturing organisation in Barrow-in-Furness seek a temporary Finance Assistant for approximately 4 months with potential for a permanent position.
Your new role
You will be responsible for accounts up to trial balance, purchase ledger, sales ledger, invoice processing using Sage 50, bank reconciliation and some credit control. You will also be creating reports using Microsoft Excel to provide to the Finance Manager and will assist the Manager in collating information for monthly and yearly reports as appropriate.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have prior experience as a Finance Assistant or Bookkeeper, will have intermediate Excel skills, be comfortable using Sage 50 and will be immediately available to start work. Accuracy and organisation are very important in this role, as well as a positive attitude to work and comfortable working in a small team.
