Finance Assistant - Wakefield
About the role
We are currently recruiting for a Finance Assistant to work 18.75 hours per week at our office in Wakefield. This position is offered on a permanent contract.
The Finance Assistant will work flexibly as a member of the Finance Team to ensure the smooth operation and development of a high quality and cost effective support service for managers and directors within Sense and Sense International. The successful candidate will form part of our Finance Team, with specific responsibility for purchase ledger and processing weekly shop returns.
The successful candidate will have a substantial record of work experience within a general accounting or financial administration role. It is also essential to have a good understanding of the operation of a computerised purchase ledger and double entry bookkeeping.
You must have the ability to build effective working relationships with internal colleagues and external agencies. This is essential so that objectives are met consistently and change is introduced successfully.
