Dunbar Education are currently working with an Ofsted ‘Good’ school in Bedford who are looking to appoint a teacher of Citizenship/ Humanities on a long term or permanent basis to start in January, or sooner for the right candidate.
The appointed applicant will be comfortable teaching General Humanities to KS3 and Citizenship to KS4, and the Head of Department has said that there is also potential for an A-Level timetable.
The Headteacher is ideally looking for a teacher who can hit the ground running and who has the ability to work both on their own and as part of a team. The Humanities Faculty is a very strong and established team.
The school are will to consider teachers with experience, NQTs and overseas trained teachers.
The school is easily accessible by public transport and local roads and is very much reachable from parts or Bucks, Northampton and London. The school is well renowned for being one of the best in the area (especially for their support) and the students are generally both well behaved and have high levels or achievement.
