JOB TITLE: Training Coordinator
SALARY & BENEFITS: Competitive salary dependent on previous experience plus attractive benefits package
WORKING HOURS: Full Time – Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm

For over 20 years they have been developing novel purification methods for fatty acids, such as the industry-leading Maxomega™ and Crystalpure™ technologies.

There is now a new exciting opportunity for an experienced Training Coordinator to join their existing team based In Callanish, Isle of Lewis.

THE ROLE: As a Training Coordinator you will report to the Production Manager, and will coordinate and support the site Leadership Team with the development and implementation of a training program for all employees in compliance with all relevant regulatory and the high standards of our client's. You will establish and evaluate specific training content for each role (including risk assessments and standard operating procedures), developing their effectiveness, as well as supporting site management in order to maintain a structured and accurate training record system which is compliant with relevant internal and external standards. You will support management to identify training needs and develop clear training processes to be used consistently by all site trainers, in line with the skills and knowledge requirements for each role. You will also on occasion deliver training using established methods in accordance with relevant standards.

THE CANDIDATE: The successful candidate will ideally be degree qualified which does not have to be in a Training related field but you must have previous experience as a Training Coordinator or in a Learning & Development related role, ideally within a manufacturing or production environment. You should be an excellent organiser and communicator who can work effectively with colleagues across a range of departments and someone who can implement specific training content for different roles. Although not essential a good understanding of the Apprentice training schemes would be very beneficial.

Key Experience/ Characteristics preferred for the role :-

Must have previous experience as a Training Coordinator or in a Learning Development role
Will ideally be degree qualified
Must have excellent organizational and communication skills (written/verbal)
Understanding of the Apprentice training schemes would be very beneficial
