An exciting new opportunity has arisen, in a technology driven financial services organisation, for an experienced Network Operations Engineer to join their growing IT Support & Operations team. The responsibilities of the Network Operations Engineer will cover supporting and managing critical network, voice, and communications systems, working within a fast-paced, customer orientated environment. Working within a team of Cisco specialists, the Network Operations Engineer will also play a key role in the continual improvement of internal network infrastructure, taking responsibility for root cause analysis, incident / problem management, service transition, and delivery support.

Key Skills:

Experience in a dedicated Network support role, up to 3rd line level
Experience of Cisco & F5 Technologies
Experience with a wide variety of network infrastructure technologies, including Firewalls, Routing & Switching, Voice / Communications, Load Balancing, and Wireless
Previous involvement in IT projects would be beneficial
Experience of ITIL processes would be highly desirable
Exposure to a number of different network technology suppliers, e.g. Cisco, Avaya, Genesys, Verint, etc.
Background working in a Windows and/or VMware environment would be preferable
Minimum of a CCNA qualification, ideally CCNP
