A new opportunity has become available for a Process & Logistics Developer to join our growing Supply Chain division at Celesio in Coventry.
Through the application of process and operational knowledge, the Process & Logistics Developer will play a key role in the design, development and successful implementation of key business initiatives and efficiency change management across Celesio and Lloyds Pharmacy network.
The successful applicant will be accountable for the delivery of key business initiatives that sit within Supply Chain Development, where he/she will be creating plans that are owned by the business and which will achieve the objectives and desired benefits in the required time frames.
As the Process & Logistics Developer, you will be expected to support the business in scoping, planning and execution of projects, whilst building on experience and applying project-specific knowledge to maximise solution development and implementation effectiveness.
A key element of this role will involve ensuring solutions are rigorously challenged, tested and piloted before implementation, whilst ensuring solution impacts are clearly understood by key stakeholders.
He/she will be responsible for Identifying and managing risks that can result in cost or time overruns, or failure to deliver solutions that are fit-for-purpose.
To succeed in this role the Process & Logistics Developer must be confident in engaging & influencing key stakeholders throughout the business to gain effective buy-in and commitment, identifying adequate support and resources to deliver results.
To be considered for this role, the ideal candidate will be well versed in leading change initiatives with proven commercial experience of working in an operational and regulated environment. He/she will possess a good understanding of Supply Chain warehouse practices with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders across the organisation at all levels.
It is essential that the Process & Logistics Developer has a clear ability to work off their own initiative with a sound understanding of project management principles and Capex modelling. Prior experience in process mapping / lean principles or exposure to retail pharmacy & secondary care customer requirements would be highly advantageous.
This opportunity will encompass some travel to AAH Branches throughout the UK, so a valid full UK driving license will be required.
