Your new company A company I exclusively recruit for with a history dating back to the early 1980's in Dundee is looking to add to its skilled welding team. This one stop shop turbine component repair facility, dealing in both aero and light industrial turbines offers a broad range of specialised component repair capabilities. Your new role You as Welder will work in a skilled team in a high regulated environment. You will be carrying out specialist work doing component repair welding material such as nickel, titanium, cobalt and stainless based alloys. You will receive trade tests in this position as you work to become fully trained and competent in your role. What you'll need to succeed You will be a time served welder coded in TIG or plasma welding. You will be able to weld thin gauge plate e.g. stainless steel, possess detailed blending/planishing skills and you will be able to work in an Argon chamber. You will be experienced in welding material such as nickel, titanium, cobalt and stainless based alloys. You will have an eye for detail and enjoy working in a team. What you'll get in return You will receive an annual salary, holiday and overtime rate. Your annual salary will increase with your level of training in the job.
