The Position:
An exciting opportunity for a candidate looking to gain experience in the Quality/ Technical field and gain a recognised qualification
Demonstrable experience in an administrative role handling sensitive and confidential data of any capacity is advantageous, along with a proven commitment to attention to detail. As a Quality and T echnical Apprentice, your duties and responsibilities will vary based on the Company’s requirements and will include but are not limited to:
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
• Engagement with a Quality focused apprenticeship course of study, to be funded by the Company.• Maintenance of electronic and paper work logs as used by the Department• General Administrative duties including filing of paperwork and electronic filing;• Working within schedules, incorporating 11 quality systems;• Responsible for accurate document control systems, including chasing and following up satisfactory responses• Accurately updating changes to Quality Systems documents.• Following Group Quality audit schedules and ensuring responses are received;• Minute taking in meetings • Typing up hand written notes and minutes;• Assist in preparation and delivery of training to internal employees on quality standards and hygiene;• In addition, this role will develop into encompassing the following:• Assist with preparation for Internal Audits, External Accreditation Audits including UKAS (ISO 17025) and GMP audits as required;• Assisting with the development and understanding of Food Hygiene Standards and Practices and GMP throughout their Group.• Assisting with the development and understanding of Accreditation standards used within their Group and related audits.
The Person:
• Educated to A-Level or Equivalent• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Programs including Word and Excel • Experience working within an administrative support role.• Competent organiser and commitment to ensuring attention to detail.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.• Good IT skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint.• Ability to manage own time effectively and be able to work tactfully and diplomatically. • Proven experience of working within a team. • An understanding of Equality and Diversity, Data Protection and Health & Safety at work.
