Finance Business Partner job for a commercially astute professional with manufacturing experience in Glasgow Your new company Our client a high profile manufacturing business synonymous with many reputable brands, has a unique job opportunity for a commercially astute Finance Business Partner. Your new role Reporting to the head of finance you will provide ongoing support and challenge to the production teams, your key responsibilities will include: Working in partnership with key stakeholders to identify continuous improvement opportunities Facilitating cased Finished Goods product costing including the review of BOM set-up within SAP and costing of materials. Producing management accounting reports and provide Business Partnering support and guidance for OPEX cost centre spend Complete month end Inventory analysis - production variances, stock write off, inventory revaluation and PPV analysis Maintain/Track unrealized profit in stock entries and escalate any findings to facilitate a solution. Responsible for posting accruals & prepayments, completing month end reporting and variance analysis for OPEX cost centres. Provide commentary on trends and key drivers/issues behind the numbers. Complete monthly balance sheet account reconciliations for areas of ownership. Providing financial analysis and information for both internal and external audit purposes. Providing notes to statutory accounts for areas of responsibility. Carry out ad hoc reporting & analysis work. What you'll need to succeed You will be a commercially astute professional with experience of working in a similar role within the manufacturing and will possess experience of using SAP You will be a proactive and results driven, self starter with a focus on continuous improvement and will demonstrate a drive to add value and drive efficiency. You will be a team player who is flexible and adaptable in their approach and and be able to build and maintain robust relationships with key stakeholders across all specialisms and at all levels of seniority.
