You will have excellent communication skills, along with the ability to analyse and assess the progress of students completing their Engineering course or apprenticeship. You will have extensive experience in the engineering industry and be able to help students complete their course.

The Role

As an Engineering Assessor, you will be responsible for ensuring the provision of work-based qualifications are administered and delivered according to the standards laid down by the awarding bodies and the College. You will ensure that candidates achieve within framework by implementing and developing realistic learning and assessment plans for candidates, reviewing and making changes depending on the candidate’s progress and competency. As part of your role you will organise and carry out on site visits in order to perform assessments as well as recording key assessment decisions and giving feedback to candidates. You will additionally work closely with Internal and External Verifiers to ensure that the quality of assessment meets the standards required by the awarding bodies.
