A high-profile B2B exhibition company seeks a Content Manager to be responsible for the creation, development and direction of the global content strategy associated with a portfolio of conferences, seminars, roadshows and awards ceremonies on one of their international brands.
You will have responsibility for content management and marketing, programme and format research and development, writing sales-driven email, web, print and direct mail copy and speaker acquisition, as well as managing the content delivered by freelance producers for overseas events.
The ideal candidate will be a dynamic and driven entrepreneurial individual, with experience of conference production, both in the UK and internationally, and all round project management and delivery skills. You will also have a track record in effective brand communication and collaboration and ideally an interest or background in engineering, science, technology/manufacturing.
This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with a strong conference production background to move away from a traditional 'churn and burn' environment and gain experience on large scale events.
