Evolve are delighted to announce a unique new role with our exclusive Edinburgh based software client working in the international banking and finance sectors. Our client is an established and ambitious organisation fostering the close-knit ethos of a growing SME with the professionalism of a larger established business. As a result, they are looking to expand their Edinburgh city-centre office and have a requirement for a Financial Systems Analyst to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a key hire for our client and one which requires an individual with a strong blend of technical and interpersonal ability – ideally from within a financial or banking environment – and a genuine passion for building the business and ensuring the company continues in its market leading position. You will work alongside multi-disciplined teams including development, implementation and support as well as having direct contact with clients. As a result, you must be adept at articulating your technical knowledge. The role will report directly into senior board-level leaders and consequently really does represent a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individual to really accelerate their career development. The successful Financial Systems Analyst will have the following technical skills and attributes: Relevant Banking and Finance/Financial Risk Management Academic qualifications or proven equivalent commercial experience Exceptional financial numeracy skills and a passion for financial modelling Passion for technology and relevant business IT ability Business Design, test, acceptance, documentation experience Commercial Financial/banking/treasury experience would be advantageous CIMA accreditation or someone looking to achieve accreditation in near future Experience of standardised approach – Basel would particularly advantageous 1st class communication skills and ability to liaise with multiple teams and clients This role offers someone with a strong technical ability within finance and banking to join an entrepreneurial organisation where someone with passion and genuine drive will be an asset to the organisation. In return our client are offering a highly competitive salary of up to £30-45,000 per annum (DOE) plus bonus, pension and benefits as well as the unique position of being mentored by a market leading founder of the business.
