Manufacturing Cost Analyst
We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Manufacturing Cost Analyst to join our client, a highly successful Scottish Whisky Distiller at their site in North Lanarkshire. The successful candidate will come from an FMCG/Manufacturing background, have a sound knowledge of the manufacturing process and be confident working with contacts across all levels of the organisation. Working as a key part of the on-site function, you will be responsible for liaising with contacts across the organisation to improve efficiency and increase profitability throughout the manufacturing process. Duties will include: - Creating and preparing daily, weekly, and monthly reports for the on -site management team - Working closely with management, presenting findings of reports to highlight areas of interest and concern - Conducting regular cost analysis with regards to the manufacturing process including, stock rotation, machine efficiency and staffing expense. Working within the highly competitive Scotch Whisky industry, knowledge of the sector would be advantageous but isn't essential for the role. Key to success within the role is a strong, proven background within a Cost Analyst role within the manufacturing/FMCG industry.
