Polkadotfrog are currently recruiting for a Technical Analyst to join our clients growing team for a specialist online software solution. We are seeking a positive and enthusiastic candidate with an ability to work at pace and to tight deadlines in a fast-moving environment.

The successful IT candidate will part of a progressive team and be required to support colleagues, companies and customers to manage statutory filing systems and keep records up to date. This means the candidate must be flexible, with a facility to adapt to project needs, constraints and changing circumstances.

Primarily responsible for the reconciliation of customer data (SQL) within bespoke software, this role extends to supporting the technical development of the product, including software testing of new and updated features.

As the company continues to growth they have opportunities for passionate individuals who share their commitment to quality to join and develop within the team. There is the possibility for this role to develop in the future into that of a Data Manager, Software Tester or Business Analyst based on the individual’s skills, drive and ability to deliver.

This Technical Analyst will be responsible for:

    Reconciling of customer data to identify and resolve inconsistenciesUpdating sales and marketing dataIntegrating data between the customer database and external CRM softwareOne-off data exercises, including data cleanse projectsBuilding management reports from the customer database Being a product expert in areas of the software a point of reference for other staffDefining and testing new and updated software featuresSpotting and looking into software defects and liaise with developers to achieve an efficient fixProject monitoring and progress reportingIdentifying project issues and risks, managing and escalating as appropriateAssisting with defining requirements for software development, particularly where reconciliation of customer data is impacted

‘Must have’ skills requirements:

    Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly ExcelProblem solving and analytical thinking, with the ability to engage with complex data Able to persevere with repetitive tasks
Desirable skills requirements:

    Experience of building SQL queries A technical / IT background A practical, systematic approach with excellent attention to detailProactive self-starter with drive to own projects and deliver resultsGood verbal and written communication skills
