LOCATION: Swindon

JOB TITLE: Process Technician / Engineer

SALARY & BENEFITS: Depending on experience

WORKING HOURS: Monday, Friday 9-5.30pm.

THE COMPANY: Our client is based in west Swindon and is a small, but dynamic and rapidly growing company developing innovative IOT (internet of things) sensors for the automotive, rail and medical sectors. They are now seeking a process engineer to support with their latest product and process developments.

THE ROLE: For the role of the Process Technician / Engineer, you will undertake process development (such as printing/assembly/encapsulation) and product manufacture and testing for Internet of things electronic circuits.

Key Responsibilities for the Process Technician / Engineer role to include:-

• Printing of electronic circuitry and subsequent post processing
• Assembly of test circuitry either manually or with automated equipment
• Antenna and other electronic component testing
• Reporting and compiling of test data
• Developing pilot production processes and producing quality and reproducibility/repeatability data
• Other duties as assigned

THE CANDIDATE: For the role of Process Technician / Engineer you will be methodical and have strong analytical and practical skills. In addition the candidate will be highly motivated, conscientious, able to work independently, and with an attention to detail. You will need to live within a commutable distance to Swindon.

Key experience essential for the role of Process Technician / Engineer:-

• Minimum A-levels in scientific or an engineering discipline
• NVQ level 2 with ideally a diploma in electronics, engineering or physics is advantageous
• Familiar with Microsoft products such as excel
• 1 years experience within a similar role
