Community and Events Fundraiser
Harris Hill are working to find a Community and Events Fundraiser for a loved Hospice in North London.This is an exciting role that will enable the post holder to have the opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of fundraising and supporter events.Main responsibilities:-To build income, support and awareness for the Hospice amongst individual supporters and community groups within the Hospice catchment area.-To attend local activities and events, giving talks and presentations to local organisations (e.g. schools, rotary clubs etc) across the catchment area, to increase awareness of and support for the charity.-To grow new community supporters while maintaining and developing relationships with existing supporters.-To provide excellent supporter care for all fundraising activities, to help develop relationships and maximise fundraising potential.-To respond to enquiries from the public, companies, volunteers, fundraisers etc. (by phone, mail and in person) including responding to requests for information and materials etc.-To ensure that accurate and up to date financial and supporter records are maintained and accessible.-To ensure that accurate and up to date financial and supporter records are maintained and accessible.In order to apply for this position, you should have the following skills and experience:-Demonstrable experience of working within community and / or events fundraising (preferably two years)-Experience dealing with volunteers, and supporters to help grow support and income-Strong organisational, multi-tasking and administrative skills-Ability to build strong relationships-Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal-A fill driving licence and use of a carIf you have these skills then please send me your up to date CV.
