The role

We are looking for a talented DevOps Manager to join our growing team – working alongside our Development Teams to improve efficiency and automate delivery of a variety of projects including both web applications and native mobile applications.

This role is a hands-on role and will involve time working with the Dev Ops Team on technical solutions to provision, configure, deploy. automate and maintain the Development Operations function within the business and to manage / improve the network infrastructure within the company.

Skills must include the following:

Good understanding of Linux based operating systems and administration.Good understanding of Windows based operating systems and administration.Identity management including federated identity managementGood understanding of Azure and AWS / similar cloud-based PaaS services. In-depth understanding of Active Directory and IaaS·Ability to deploy PaaS and SaaS solutions on Azure/AWS

·Knowledge of network configurations, DMZs and VPNs

·Experience of setting PowerShell scripting

Good track record with automation of software deployments and associated tools – such as Jenkins, Bitrise or VSTS.·Monitor and manage services for potential issues

·Able to deal with clients and help with technical support issues

·Work with Solution Architects to ensure client services are available

Desirable

Experience designing, implementing & enforcing internal security policies across an organisation. Previous experience with enterprise architecture infrastructureAzure / AWS CertificationsExperience of Unified Threat Management Experience with any analytics providers, such as Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Flurry, Amplitude, and so onExperience using test suites and monitoring tools to determine software stability & performance.Experience of implementing MDM solutions, e.g. Microsoft Intune.Use of container solutions, such as Docker, is highly desirable.Experience of the mobile app distribution lifecycle is highly desirable.Previous experience in software development and software development automation.Understanding of git version control and branching strategies.Experience using modern software development languages and toolsets – including Node.js, .NET (C#), Swift – highly desirable.Person Specification
