Summary of the Role
The Flexigrid SHEQ Assessor will work as part of the Greenergy SHEQ team, carrying out delivery risk assessments amongst others at customer sites across all Greenergy Fuels delivered in business.
The primary focus of this SHEQ Assessor role will be to provide support to Flexigrid operations in the form of fuel delivery assessments, event investigation, risk assessments, advice on legislation and good practice and follow up to driver ANRs where a site visit is needed to confirm close out an issue by the customer.
This will require the individual to work effectively with all levels of staff involved in those operations.
The role will report into the Flexigrid SHEQ Manager for Greenergy Flexigrid who report to the Head of Process Integrity for the Greenergy Group
-Work with team to manage the carrying out of fuel delivery assessments on new customer sites and periodic reviews existing fuel delivery assessments.
-Work with team to manage the list of customer sites and fuel delivery assessments to ensure that new assessments are completed at the earliest opportunity and existing assessments are reviewed in a timely manner.
-Investigate and report on events arising, with particular focus on customer sites.
-Undertake and assist with development of risk assessments to ensure that sites control and plan their activities appropriately
-Review and provide specialist SHE advice to permit improvement in the systems of SHE management and competence that are employed across the whole business with a view to minimizing the occurrence of events or incidents which could be detrimental to the organisation.
-Work closely with the Greenergy Flexigrid team and all of Greenergy Flexigrid’s third-party service providers to make sure that systems of risk reduction are effective in delivering results to the highest standards. Monitor this by using factual tools to report and compare the incidence of service failures and events across all fuel terminals.
-Will need to spend regular time with shift workers and travel to the various locations of the company nationally, therefore must be able to work away from home.
-Need to be able to self-manage the process of planning/scheduling, carrying out and completing delivery risk assessments.
-NEBOSH qualification (NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent as a minimum)
-Membership of a Professional Organisation (IIRSM, IOSH, IEMA)
-Knowledge of Dangerous Goods by Road (ADR)
-Real-world experience of the challenges around Haulage and Logistics.
-Proficient in use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
-Experience of working with a team of SHEQ professionals
-The candidate must be numerate, logical and evidence based.
