Technical Services Manager
Huddersfield, West Yorkshire
Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.30 to 5.00pm
Base Salary: Negotiable £30K to £35K, plus performance related bonus

Cubed Resourcing are delighted to be working alongside their manufacturing client who offer a range of rotational equipment, pumps and compressors into a wide variety of industries.

Our client is a small and friendly team, who are seeking a key candidate to assist with the company’s strategic growth initiatives. They require a motivated and target driven Technical Services Manager to support Distributor and employees, by creating, developing and delivering a range of technical sales and service training modules.

• Offer telephone technical service support to UK distributors and service personnel as required.
• Create and deliver a full set of service and product application training modules packages for UK Sales and Service teams.
• Handle technical product and application enquiries from UK sales personal and distributors.
• Create Service / Technical Bulletins
• Create set of Commissioning sheets and report templates for the entire range of products.
• Liaise where necessary with head office in Germany to gain necessary answers to resolve technical issues to satisfactory conclusion in timely and professional manner.
• Check returned Warranty Parts from Dealers
• Occasional in field technical support including trouble-shooting for UK distributors and direct customers on products and compressed air systems, providing reports and feedback as required.

• Proven track record, preferably +5 years, in a technical or support role within the Rotating equipment in an environment of constant change.
• Strong presentation skills and training qualities.
• Ability to create and deliver a variety of training packages, theory in Power Point format and practical hands-on drawing on data and information researched and experience essential.
• Excellent communication skills, with a can do attitude a prerequisite.
• High level PC literacy.
• High level of personal effectiveness, discipline and organization required.
• Ability to prepare accurate reports and technical bulletins.
• Ability to promote a professional company image, when in contact with end user customers and distributors, essential.
• Persistent and self-motivated with the ability to work as part of the UK sales and service support teams.
• Demonstrated qualities of consistency, diplomacy, discretion, risk-taking and integrity.
• Willingness to travel within UK. Some travel to European meetings will also be necessary.
