An exceptional position has arisen in one of the UK-s leading providers of low and medium secure mental health care hospitals. This particular facility provides low secure services for male and female patients and a specialist psychiatric intensive care service for adolescents. At the hospital their expert teams work in partnership with local government and charity organisations to promote local integration and enhance the opportunity for a patient's access to the community. They are a leader in providing an extensive range of psychiatric care for people with mental health conditions and learning difficulties and are committed to providing outstanding levels of service to patients and partners, that is flexible and needs led based on the individuals requirements. The successful candidate must have excellent leadership and administration skills as they will be required to promote clinical best practice by developing the clinical expertise of ward staff across the service through the effective utilisation and analysis of audit and training needs analysis data. You will be expected to give team supervision and participate in delivering a sensitive, efficient care service to all patients within the hospitals group. Your main focus will be, in conjunction with and sometimes on behalf of the Nurse Consultant, to co-ordinate and deliver the induction programme and on-going training and education of all staff across the service.
