We are a family run hotel and believe that work life balance is paramount so our kitchen enjoys straight shifts as a matter of course; working 5 days out of 7 and on average 40 hours per week.

Scope & General Purpose of Job:

To provide guests and visitors to The Arch Hotel with an efficient and personal service whilst maintaining the consistency and continuity and strive to continually improve.

Main Responsibilities:

    To assist the Head Chef with kitchen operations and menu developmentTo deputise for Head chef in their absenceTo supervises shift operation and ensures compliance with all food and beverage standards, procedures & policies and Health & Safety regulations.To recognise superior quality products, presentations & flavours.To maintain purchasing, receiving & food storage standards.To review staffing levels to ensure that guest service and financial objectives are met.
Essential Skills required for the role

    Experience in a high quality restaurant to Chef de Partie level.Ability to express creativity through food selections, preparation and presentation.Attention to detail.
