Our client are the only phone and broadband provider in the UK owned and democratically controlled by its customers. While other businesses focus on the pursuit of profits at all costs, they think about their impact on the world and how they can make it a better place while still giving their customers the best possible service. They are looking for a Telecoms Billing Specialist to join their team, ensuring accurate rating and billing of customer calls and services every month.

Responsibilities & Duties:
â?¢ Daily call rating, fraud checking and error checking
â?¢ Monthly bill creation and printing including quality checks, packing and dispatch
â?¢ Monthly reconciliation of supplier charges with billing
â?¢ Responding to queries from customer services and reporting any charge corrections and known issues
â?¢ Implementing new tariffs or updating existing tariffs
â?¢ Requesting billing corrections or changes from suppliers if needed
â?¢ Recommend changes and improvements to billing process
â?¢ Maintaining and updating procedures on an ongoing basis
â?¢ Weekly ad hoc invoicing for handsets
â?¢ Commission statements to customers

Candidate Requirements:
â?¢ Detailed knowledge of Excel
â?¢ Attention to detail
â?¢ Numerical & data accuracy
â?¢ Strong analytical skills & problem solving
â?¢ Ability to work to strict deadlines
â?¢ Team working, co-operation and influencing skills
â?¢ Experience of working with complex software systems
â?¢ Self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision
â?¢ Previous experience of raising invoices to customers (not essential)

37.5 hour week normally worked over 5 days â?? full time or as a shared role with 2 part-time staff. (There will be some evening and weekend working, mostly flexible, shared with others on a rota basis.)
