We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Digital Analyst with demonstrable experience to deliver best-in-class digital insight across our digital assets, including visitlondon.com, studylondon.ac.uk, invest.london, conventionbureau.london, gotogrow.london and others.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to create and implement innovative and actionable insights to make an impact across the business. Your insights will help optimise product development and marketing campaigns, whilst also supporting the ecommerce team to increase revenue. You will lead a new business intelligence programme, helping us transform the way we use digital data across the organisation.

As part of your role, you will lead a new Business Intelligence programme, working closely with a highly motivated team, to help us transform the way we use digital data and drive value across the organisation.

Key Tasks:

  • Ability to think strategically, to be the voice of customer and provide actionable insights that deliver business value
  • Ensure evidence based decision making is at the heart of everything we do
  • Drive our thinking and build our business intelligence capability, using third party data and working with partners to deliver automated insights and self-serve reporting
  • Work closely with the Head of Digital Channels to define and develop the personalization programme to increase engagement and revenue
  • Ensure multivariate and A/B tests are correctly configured for reporting and review test results
  • Work closely with the research and insights team to identify new insights and collaborate on the effective use of digital insight in the business
  • Benchmark and ensure our digital insights are leading edge and future proofed
  • Line manage the Digital Analyst

You'll Have

Essential

  • Significant and demonstrable experience with Google Analytics, including advanced data segmentation, ecommerce reporting, custom reports and funnel analysis
  • An excellent understanding of engagement and ecommerce KPIs and tools across all digital channels, including SEO, Social, Email and Acquisition
  • Experience of a/b testing and personalisation
  • Highly numerate with an excellent understanding of statistical principles
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, including database formulas, pivot tables and data visualisation
  • Strategic thinker, able to communicate data and complex ideas to stakeholders with different levels of understanding
  • Inquisitive, strong problem-solver and excellent attention to detail
  • Proactive, self-motivated and an excellent communicator
  • A solid understanding of how web analytics tracking is deployed
  • Managerial skills, providing support and mentoring as required

Desirable

  • Experience of business information systems such as Tableau, PowerBi, etc
  • Experience of Sitecore Experience Analytics
  • Experience working in an Agile environment
  • SQL and database skills to extract data from multiple sources
  • BA/BS analytical degree (engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, statistics, economics or similar)
