QuintilesIMS is currently recruiting for a highly motivated, experienced Local Account Manager to work acrossEast Wales. We need a visionary, highly organised Respiratory specialist who can deliver effectively against business plans and drive sales forward.

This exciting opportunity will generate clinical and commercial demand for brands in the therapy area of Respiratory.

You will be expected to:

- Drive market access and be accountable for leading advocacy, consensus and guidance for allocated brands across a number of LHE accounts in line with account ambition.

- Work as part of a cross functional team, selling to Key Customers and clinical prescribers in Hospitals, Primary Care and the Payor community as defined by the Regional Business Manager according to the local business needs at a given time.

- Demonstrate a high degree of knowledge within the Respiratory Therapy Area.

- Represent the high ethical standards of the business at all times.

We require a person who is full of energy and is able to deliver the following objectives:

- Deliver sales targets for allocated brands

- Demonstrate exemplary account management and operational excellence

- Execute and deliver the agreed business plan

- Input into the development of the business plans

- You will identify potential barriers to prescribing within these accounts and work with the RBM / RAM / TAS to implement aligned action plans

- Demonstrate and maintain high levels of clinical, therapy area and environmental knowledge

- Deliver high quality sales interactions with both clinical and payo customers alike

- You will become involved with facilitating the development of CCG/ trust formularies/ guidelines

- Ensure compliance of all AZ Governance Framework (CDTI) & ABPI.

- You should manage the budget within +/- 3%.

Skills and Experience Required:

Key Account Management expert and secondary care expertise with demonstrable track record of success.

Respiratory experience highly advantageous
KOL and HCP development experience
Market Access, Pricing & Reimbursement experience ideal
Previous formulary success
Can demonstrate competence "end to end" selling
Strong organisational and analytical skills
Competitive implementer
ABPI qualified
Eligible to work full-time in the UK
EU Driving licence (no more than 6 points)
