We are seeking a Cryogenics Engineer to join the Cryoplant team to deliver a new Cryoplant for the MAST-U facility.

The main responsibilities of the role will include:

- To lead the technical delivery of the MASTU cryoplant, including liaison with vendors and subcontractors

- To be part of the Cryoplant team operating and maintaining the UKAEA cryoplants

Knowledge skills and experience

Essential

- HNC or degree qualified with previous experience of cryogenic systems
- Strong cryogenics safety track record
- Experience of plant control systems including interlocks

Desirable

-Experience of Pressure Systems Regulations
-Experience of training others in cryogenic safety and operation of cryogenic equipment

Special requirements:

Experience of running medium to large cryoplants

-As part of the selection process you may be expected to complete work based simulation exercises and a personality profile either online or onsite.
