To ensure all client’s data centre environmental & Critical Systems are maintained at all times. To carry out PPM, Reactive and Breakdown Work to all Mechanical and Electrical systems within the client site.

Key Responsibilities1Ensure that routine PPM’s are carried out to all Mechanical and Electrical plant in accordance with Client task schedules and asset lists. Meeting and Exceeding Serviceability Expectations.

2Ensure that Reactive tasks throughout the buildings are completed and be proactive in highlighting areas where improvements can be made.

3Ensure that plant faults and defects are swiftly remedied to maintain plant in Serviceable order at all times.

4Ensure that suitable spares are available to carry out both Maintenance and Reactive works.To provide parts lists and estimated timescales to carry out Remedial works.

5Ensure that all relevant paperwork is completed regarding PPM, Reactive and Breakdown works and that it is passed without delay to the Contract Administrator.

6Ensure that Method Statements and Risk Assessments are prepared, and used for all tasks undertaken to ensure safe-working practices at all times.

7To develop a good working relationship with all members of staff & client Representatives.

8Ensure the provision of a Safe and Healthy-working environment.To include the wearing of uniform and PPE at all times.

9Ensure the professional image is presented to clients and visitors at all times

10Ensure the client processes in regard to change management access, incident and reporting procedures are adhered to and updates are provided within a timely manner.

11Ensure that all plant rooms under the responsibility are secure at all times and are kept in a clean and tidy condition.

12Supervising and monitoring of Sub-Contractors works whilst they are on site undertaking Maintenance.

13To follow Imtech Inviron and client escalation processes are adhered to in the event of an incident

14To remain on site until relieved by incoming shift man.

15To undertake lone working when and where required.

16To comply with and add value to site Standard and Emergency Operating Procedures

17To undertake scenario training for site specific infrastructure and systems

18To demonstrate to the client the capability to meet the requirements of the laid down “Shift Assessment Criteria”

Accountabilities1Accountable to Site Supervisor and Site Management Team.

2The post does not have any directly reporting staff.

3The post carries no direct budgetary responsibility.

4Accountable for maintaining appropriate stocks of spares and consumables, and ensuring their secure storage and controlled issue.

5Ensuring Sub-Contractor attendance on-site are suitably monitored, supervised and Site Inducted.

6Following out Site Escalation procedures in the event of emergency breakdowns.

Qualifications Required·Electrical Qualifications (C&G or equivalent)

o17th Edition ideally.

o2391 or equivalent.

·Mechanical Qualifications (NVQ or equivalent)

·Refrigeration qualification (C&G or equivalent)

·F-Gas certification

·AP15 – Non essential.
