Customer Demand Planner

Our business partner are a leading healthcare manufacturer company, They are looking to recruit a Customer Demand Planner as a permanent member of the team. This is a very small close knit team that are all specialist within there verticals. This role could lead onto a managerial position very quickly for the correct candidate.

Key Responsibilities;

The Customer Demand Planner (CDP) maintains responsibility for the order book and delivery of finished goods to all customers within UK & Export markets. As a result this position is the key customer contact for orders and related commercial enquiries. The role provides support to Commercial, Supply Chain and Operational functions focusing on demand planning and customer service and is measured through internal KPIs such as OTIF. The role will proactively seek out customer orders to ensure monthly budgets are met. The CDP will manage demand planning for the top 20 Key accounts/product lines enabling the Supply Chain department to manage materials accordingly.

Ensuring orders are received in a timely manner within agreed KPI measures, scheduling despatches across the month to meet internal. Pro-actively seeking additional sales to increase monthly revenue to improve cash flow and stock management. Actively pursue sales of 'at risk' finished goods to improve stock turnover and reduce write-offs.

* Manage delivery of finished goods to all customers within UK & Export markets
* Good communication and Team building skills
* Excellent attention to detail
* Proven inventory management experience
* Strong analytical abilities
* Flexible. Provide support to the whole supply chain department to cover absence.
* Knowledge of SAGE, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
* Good numerical and analytical skills
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to prepare clear, informative and legible reports
* Background in master scheduling & demand planning


* Experience of procurement processes
* Experience using ERP/MRP statistical analysis and other MRP functionality
* Knowledge of sales forecasting
* Dangerous Goods transportation
